hay does anyone know if subway actually helps u lose weight?

    the people that loose weight by it are the ones that need fast food and would otherwise go for mcdonalds or something eslse highy caloric

  4. The key is exercise.  After that, eating only the low fat or lower fat sandwiches will help.  Actually you can lose weight anywhere if you stick to the lower fat items and eat only until you are satisfied, not until you are full.  

  5. It never says it will make you lose weight! But if you eat it INSTEAD of mcdonalds burger king etc. and excersise and eat other healthy foods it will help!

  8. It all depends on what you are eating at Subway. Each Subway restaurant should have visible, or be able to provide you with the nutritional information of their offerings.

    The trouble is sticking to exactly what is on that &quot;6 grams or less of fat&quot; sandwich. If you add the mayonnaise or extra veggies or chips and a drink and a cookie you are adding a LOT of calories and what not to that &quot;6 gram&quot; sandwich. Don&#039;t forget to add the calories and sugar for the drink you are having, as well!

    I always get a kids meal size. It&#039;s a smaller sandwich and a smaller drink and at most places comes with different side options (plus a toy).

    I keep a nutritional information guide to a couple of different fast food places in my glove box. (They can be found online or in each restaurant if you requet it.) That way, I can spend 5 minutes before lunch to plan out which place to go and what exactly I will be getting. Being able to compare side by side each sandwich and salad option really helps me figure out which low calorie meal to choose!

    (And that Jarred commercial: He walked to the Subway restaurant and he had a lot more weight to lose than the average person!)

  12. I think the concept of their food is low fat.   You have to maintain a healthy diet &amp; exercise to lose some weight.

    i don&#039;t think it matters what you eat as long as you are willing to work it all off.

  14. If you skip the bread part you will lose weight. Just eat salads. Actually subway is lo fat. Their sandwiches are mostly salad and toppings with out much meat.  The bread is high in carbohydrates though which will turn to sugar in your system and if you are not active and burn it it will turn to fat. Lo fat diets don&#039;t work for every body though. Everybody is different.
