We own the pigeons and we are going to put it in our gargage next to our roost we have for them.

Are you asking  how to build a nest?

All you need is a box that is 16&quot; wide, 12&quot; tall and 12&quot; deep.

Think of a wood box that size.

Leave one side open. Use a board 5&quot; high across the front. Leave the other 7&quot; open. Put about 3&quot; of sawdust in the box and put it in the loft you have built or where ever you want. Some people just nail a box on the outside of the garage for the birds to nest in. They will roost in there at night also.

Make sure to face the opening toward the direction of least probability of rain blowing in.  You can put a piece of tar paper or roll roofing across the top of it. you can let the top (roof) board  to extend out about four inches over the opening the rain won&#039;t blow in.

If you are building a box for indoors all you need is a nesting box that is 12&quot; X 12&quot; X 4&quot; high. You can nail up several  of these and they can have their choice.

Good luck with your pigeons. I have had them for almost 50 years. I never tire of observing them in the garden or in the air.

make a square out of wood and put straw in there and balance it on a tree close to the garage and see maybe they will see it
