What's wanganui like to live in? What are some of the good and bad areas? Is it safe to go out at night with your family into town? (walking that is)

I&#039;ve heard some bad reports about Wanganui and unlike the other posters on here, I don&#039;t think there is anything weird about someone admitting a temporary phase of crime-phobia, much better than the thoughts and activitites of a lot of other young people. Can&#039;t a person post a question without being attacked and criticized? It isn&#039;t as though there is anything wrong with K A K&#039;s questions

What the h**l is up with all these questions. You and your &#039;uncle&#039; seem to ask very similar questions. It makes a lot of people wonder. Your story doesn&#039;t match up.

Where on earth is it not safe to go walking with your family at night in New Zealand? Seriously, you&#039;re starting to p**s me off.

I was in Wanganui in November and i didn&#039;t like it . personally i would not like to live there, but people do and they love it . The river is beautiful so if you are into canoeing it would be a great place and there are some very nice homes built up on the hill. Nothing in the town did i see that was pleasing to me.
