his MOS training will it be until he actually gets deployed?

I heard that they let soldiers know of their deployment one year before they're deployed. but I'm not sure

Not all reservist deploy..Your assuming he will..Reservist do not deploy on a regular schedule..

It might be every 4 years or every 7 years or once a year..They get activated as needed to fill roles and right now the USMC infantry is not short handed..

So he may never deploy..Who knows.

that all depends on when his reserve unit is activated. just because you are infantry does not mean you go to war automatically
