(tagalog) what does "botsing" mean?

like my aunt (whos smokin hot...hehe)

in the philippines whenever she asks for directions or tlks to someone for information

she goes "botsing" or however u spell it, it sounds like boo-sing

so she yell "botsing, paano ba pumunta dun sa kanto" or whatever she says

managalog naman ako pero hindi ko alam ang ibig sabiin "botsing"

they're both correct. it's bossing which is derived from 'boss'. it's commonly used when soliciting favors from someone, either by asking for directions or assistance of some other form since it connotes authority and somehow gives the other person a feeling of power or superiority which are usually believed to increase the person's inclination to help.
