I am a widow, taking care of invalid mother, want to complete early childhood degree but can't afford the tuition and time off work

  1. Are you saying that you have 60 hours needed to receive an Associate Degree or a BA?

    Check out "Child Care Lounge"...this is the link for classes on line. http://www.childcarelounge.com/online/ma...

    The above link has classes for CDA and CEU credits---and are affordable.

    If you are looking to finish a BA---there are several colleges that offer on-line classes; however, they are more expensive. Classes on line can then be done to fit your schedule.

    For money---Does your community have any grants/awards for women who want to continue their education? If so--apply. Can you find work at a center that may help defray the cost of classes? Remember that whatever you spend on impoving your present job is tax deductable...

    It sounds as if your hands are full---good for you to want to continue learning and growing! Don't give up---in this day---60 isn't old :-)
