Hello, I unfortunately don't have an answer for you. I just wanted to respond because I have exactly the same problem. Only it is my grandfather who was full blooded Cherokee and got adpoted very young. His name was of course changed so I have no way to prove his family was listed on the 1924 Baker Roll. It's frustrating. I've come to the conclusion though that the only way to get any information is to hire a geneology expert.
