  1. Right click an empty area of your desktop or any open window, select New from the menu that pops up, select Text Document, Notepad opens and type away. Save your document as a .txt file and either import the file to Outlook or just copy and paste from your Notepad document to Outlook. Hope that's what you were asking.

  2. You can save as a .text file in MS Word and MS Notepad

    Notepad:

After you create your document Go to File>Save>Save

    Word:

After you create your document Go to File>Save As> Click where it says .doc> Select Plain Text>Then click Save>

    I REALLY hope this helps!

  3. go to start menu - accessories - then use notepad or wordpad. Type in what you want and save. It will save as a txt file.

  4. .txt is the file extension for a Text file. A simple way to create text file is to open Notepad (Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad). Type in whatever, and save the file. The file will be something like "your_filename.txt".
