  1. Hello Phil,

I agree with chris on the things you should check, pumps, control system parts price & can you aquire them at a reasonable price in the event you should have to replace the electronics Circuit board , topside control, & sensors. If the shafts on the motor's will turn freely, chances are that the motors are fine, however pay close attention to the pump which is attached to the motor, follow the shaft out of the motor and where it goes into the pump, look for chemical traces on the plastic, they usually appear like white calcium deposits.... if you see any traces of deposits, that is usually a sign that the shaft seal has started to leak and the pump (wet end) and or shaft seal will need to be replaced, as it will leak alittle or alot, and could cause problems with the motor. The wiring that feeds your 3 ton ac unit is not sufficient as the guage of the wire will be 10/2 w/ground this is only rated to 30 amps, and your hot tub will require 50 amp dedicated circuit with a 50 amp GFCI Breaker in a disconnect within 10' of Hot Tub Location. The correct guage wire you should use for this is 6/3 w/ground Romex w/ conduit or 6/3 uf this is for underground purposes without the need for conduit.....

    Hope this Helps,
