[verizon] Does verizon charge if someone calls me from another state?

Question

I have a local plan,I can't make long distance calls, but I can receive them. If someone calls my phone from another state is that call charged to my bill?

If it`s a land line phone I think only the caller will be billed.  Unless it is a collect call.

I assume you mean a cell phone. If someone makes a long distance call to your number, the only thing it costs you is the minutes.
