From the English word "peace". This virtue name has always been rare, but was sometimes used by Quakers and in 18th and 19th century New England.

Peace can be used in different context, it is a name, and it is a word used to describe a place or a situation, example, saying how peaceful a place is or how peaceful a town has become after much turmoil.

Peace in other words is a period of harmony between different social groups that is characterized by lack of violence or conflict behaviors, and the freedom from fear of violence. Peace is one of the few names given to people that actually stand out. Like they say, sometimes your name have influence in your life. If names really do influence one’s life, then people called Peace should be considered to be calm, kind, peaceful and never associate themselves with trouble.

Other names that have the same meaning or implications as Peace are:

    Paz – Spanish

    Frieda –German

    Pax –Latin

    Dove – English

Hence, when choosing names for your baby girl, consider adding the name “Peace” to the list.
