  1. 2x+2 or (x+1)And the power of 2

  2. you multiply everything

starting with x and x to get x squared

then x times one to get 1x  combined with the other 1x equals 2x and then one times one is one...

    so x squared + 2x + 1

  3. In alegebra, you need an equation for each variable, you have provided zero equations, therefore, it will be impossible for anyone to help you.  Hint: an equation has an equal(=) sign in it.

  4. (x + 1)(x + 1), use FOIL to simplify this.

    First, x * x = x^2

    Outside, x * 1 = x

    Inside, 1 * x = x

    Last, 1 * 1 = 1

    Write out all the terms

    x^2 + x + x + 1

Add like terms and the answer is

    x^2 + 2x + 1

  5. FOIL

    multiply the FIRST terms

       x*x = x^2

    multiply the OUTER terms

       x*1 = x

    multiply the INNER terms

       1*x = x

    multiply the LAST terms

       1*1 = 1

    Now add them all up

       x^2+x+x+1 = x^2+2x+1

    voila FOIL

  6. x^2 + 2x + 1

multiply the first two numbers of each set together (x and x)

the last two (1 and 1)

then first and last (x and 1) and last and first (1 and X)

  7. to do this you use something called FOIL

    first

    outer

    inner

    last.

you multiply the first x by the second x to get x exponet 2

then you multiply the first x with the second 1 to get  X

then you multiply the first 1 with the second x to get X

then you multiply thefirst 1 witht he second 1 o get 1

[you can combine like terms by puting the two product x's together to make 2x]

    so the answer would be x exponet 2 + 2x + 1

    hope this helps you!

  8. its easy. thats xsquared +x+x+1

  9. 2x+2.  Send me an e-mail and I'll explain it to you, if you like.  My e-mail is masterscooby88@yahoo.com
