£11,995 06 plate, average mileage Silver Polo GTI

What do you think is the best price i can get the salesman down to on this car?

There was no Polo GTi by 2006, there was only a 105bhp 1.4 sport, and £12k is what it cost new! Either that's what you're looking at or it's an older model GTi which wasn't registered till 06. Either way, it's not worth £12k. The Polo is a very old design of car now, a new model is imminent, so I really wouldn't go spending anywhere near that kind of money on one.

Without knowing if it's a 3 or 5 door, and not knowing if it's an 06 or 56, I would say that you should get £1000 off. £1500 and you're doing well;
