  1. All hosting costs money.  Servers cost money, electricity to run them costs money. Server/Network administrators cost money and the pipes to send/return cost money.

Free hosting is offset by advertising.

  2. You may want to look into creating a free website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://tinyurl.com/officelive . It has a free design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. Also, when you build your contact form on Office Live, it will go automatically to your email address - no need to fuss with Mail() in php. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year.

    - Website Builder

    - Over 500 website templates ready for download

    - Free POP3 Email Box and Webmail access

    - FTP and Web based File Manager

    - PHP, MySQL, Perl, CGI, Ruby.

    - No Ads at all !

  4. well free webhosting is not recommended because once the bandwidth gets over people can not visit your website.bluehost is the best one

  5. Check out http://www.000WEBH0ST.com

I use them...  Am happy. :-)

  6. You can go to weebly.com or synthasite.com  they are both step by step. I perfer weebly more because of the fact that it gives a graph number thing to show you how many people have visited your site. You can have a domain like: mydomainname.weebly.com or mydomainname.com -- but with this one you have to pay for. They are both like that. It's your decision if you want to pay for the domain name or not.
