¿What is your opinion about argentinian nacional team of rugby?

Im argentinian and my national team got the third place in this world cup france 2007.

We beat France twice (one in the inaugural match and another in the third place match)

Argentina have done well considering they don't appear to have many other good teams to play against in their country.

before the world cup I didn't think that much of them, then again I didn't see them playing that much.

but now, they played really well in the world cup, I'm from Ireland, so its hard to say it but they are a really good team. glad they beat france, france are a great team and to beat them twice in the same tournament is a great achievment for Argentina. it's onwards and upwards for them from now on. they'll keep getting better and better, but they need to play more games. the six nations teams, the tri-nations teams  gives the 9 teams alot of practice to improve their skills and matchplay.

I did read today that the tri-nations might be expanded to allow argentina in. and that will be good for them. It's great to have alot of good teams, it makes rugby more competitive, and it's better that way.

Being a Kiwi, people thought I was a bit odd when asked "who's going to be the Dark Horse of the tournament?" and I told them Argentina without even batting an eyelid.  Most expected me to say one of the Pacific Island teams (who of course did indeed cause some interesting upsets in the tournament), but I knew that Argentina were one who could potentially take it all the way.

I was proved right from the very first game of the tournament and now all my friends have jumped on the Argentina bandwagon.  They are such a great team and I would absolutely love to see them involved in one of the major annual tournaments - whether it have been an expanded 6 nations or tri-nations.  They truly deserve to play more test rugby at the highest level because they've shown that they can indeed compete.

My one hope now is that they can go back home with their heads held high and be embraced by their people and gain even more fans and support than ever before.  They deserve it!

I think that Argentina needs to be included in the Tri-Nations. They deserve to have constant quality opposition and they have really proven themselves at this World Cup. Their inclusion into the Tri-Nations can only be good for the game overall.

Wonderful team.  Argentina play with great passion and love for the game of Rugby.  I am so very happy that they beat France.  Well done argentina!!!!!!  3rd best in the World.
