ПОМОГИТЕ!!! lol... I need help understanding abbreviations in Russian fire rating codes?

Question

This is a document that I need to translate and I'm having a very difficult time in with it, I hope someone would be kind enough to help me understand some abbreviations that they use in a particular table.

I'm not stupid, I swear, I just left Russia long time ago and even though I can do the text I don't understand any of the symbols. And I'm the only person in my company that knows any Russian all together so I have to figure it out somehow.

this is the stuff that I need:

- very first box has number sign and " п.п."next to it. What does " п.п." mean?

- The columns 4 & 5 uses letters Н.н and По п. 5????

I'd appreciate any help. I know its probably something very simple, I just don't know what it is

My advice for you is to go to the site of the professional translators http://www.proz.com and ask for help there in Kudoz questions section. People are very nice there and they always share their experience, knowledge and help.

There is a footnote for "n.n" - "ne normiruetsya", the "p/p" is probably "pod-punkt" .  "Po p.5" I would think should be a reference to item ("punkt") #5 in the same table. Good luck!

To respond to your additional question,

Not sure where the "Sv. 3..." are in the document but my guess is that this means "svyshe" or "more than 3 and up to 4", etc. Hope this helps.

Wow, I never pay attention about codes either,although I can interprete a regular Russian words... I  wish that theres more time to answer your question, maybe a day or two so that I can ask my friend what it means...

I do have some Russian contact, but certainly didn't catch your question--lol--...good luck anyhow
