i am looking at buying a new mobile & a case for it off ebay.

i was just wondering if anyone has bought anyhting off ebay

( or no someone who has) was it good? are the items ok?

would you buy something off ebay?

I buy things off of ebay all the time - I always check that the seller has good feedback, good pictures on what I'm bidding on and it's even worth emailing them before you bid, just checking the item is the item you're bidding for.

I strongly suggest you read the small print though, as my friend had an unfortunate incident where she thought she was buying a £200 Chloe bag, when she actually paid £200 for a picture of it...

The only things ive bought from ebay have been a pair of skinnies and a dress

The skinnies were black..what I asked for...cept they were too short and the dress came with bows and stuff missing

My advice...although going to a store and paying for the phone may be more expensive it saves u from spending half your money on something crappy that isnt what u asked for..

Then you just have to pay more money to get what you wanted in the first place

I bought a GBA Micro (They don't make them now) off of Ebay for $50 brand new in the box. And I also got a free game too. It took a little while for it to ship (About a week) but I had a great experience. But they key is to check the seller and the item

I have been buying from Ebau for years and I have not had a problem ye, look at the # of items sold by that seller and the feedback, you want at leat 98% positive feedback and at least 100 of them. Ebay has certain guarantees about being ripped off,  here's an advice, if theres an item you like, look in ebay to see  if anyone else is selling tha same item and it's a good deal to buy it, the reason I mention this is that I have seen many items on sale that are the same price at the stor, even sometimes higher.

Hey,

I've bought a few things off ebay.

I've had about a 75% success rate.

The rest either arrived damaged or didn't work as they should.

I would buy off ebay but I try to only buy inside US/Canada (shipping takes too long from China!) and I read the description very carefully.
