I don't like it. Jaelyn is at the top of my list of most horrible made-up names, and Makena is a boy's name meaning "son of Cionaodh" (no, it doesn't mean "happy one" just because you spelled it like that, because I almost guarantee that your baby isn't from the Kikuyu tribe of Kenya!)

I don't particulary care for this one.  Kudos to you though for not wanting to do something like Claire and Chloe or Lyla and Lillie.  Kudos for wanting to give your children unique names!!  What about Jewel or Julianna?  Or Jacey.  Jewel and Jacey are both on my lists.  I like Noelle as a middle name or if you want to stick with an M name Mae.  Hope this helps.  Congrats!!!

i love the name Jaelyn, but i'm not super crazy about makena.... maybe try a Jaelyn Marie ?
