I really need a cell phone able to get connected by Wi-Fi just like the iPhone can. But the iPhone is quite expensive if used ONLY for it...

Can I get any cheap phone and have the same abilities of getting connected than with a very expensive one ? (same force of signal ?).

For example, if I get connected by Wi-Fi with the 'i-mate Ultimate 7150' and with the 'Nokia 6136', will I get the same force of signal with both of them ?

i-mate Ultimate 7150 = Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/e/i

Nokia 6136 = Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, UMA

I don't understand what these specifications mean... Do you ?

Thanks to all of you for helping.

  1. nokia n95... though theres no big difference betwen Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/e/i and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, UMA.. it's just for compatibility and version..
