  1. The hay is actually next to the post and he's walked the 15ft, full extent of the rope, away from it.

I hope this is right or I look dumb...

  2. The rope is, apart from being fastened to the horse, not fastened to anything else, so the horse can quite easily reach the bale of hay :-)

  3. The horse and hay are tied at opposite ends of the rope

  4. This is not a horse racing question.

  5. the bail of hay is next to the peg (15ft from end of rope)

  6. Very easily. Any of the above could be correct.. Think you got the question a bit wrong. Try again, or try it in a section where the respondents are not so bright....Try politics!!!!!!!!!!

  7. The rope is around his hind leg?  The rope is only tied to the horse and nothing at the other end.

  8. The horse has been tied up by the tail.

  9. The horse is tied to the rope but you haven't mention what the other end of the rope is tied to. So in my opinion the horse can move to where the hay is as the other end of the rope is attached to nothing.

  10. Irrespective of the smartypants answer to this question, surely if the rope is 15ft long and the hay is 15ft away the horse can reach it anyway.

  11. he ate through the rope, crawled on his belly, noshed down on the hay, then went for a pint...

    thats what i'd do

  12. If the hay is fifteen feet away and the horse has fifteen feet of rope, he should be able to reach the hay.

  13. Without ceremony !!

    Hahahaha
