  1. Two different cases:

If we peacefully destroy the earth, then by destroy we will mean kill most everything. Some species will live through this current mass extinction, and continue to evolve. Our species could very well do this. Of course, we'll lose all the progress we've made since the agricultural revolution, but we'll learn it all again, and repopulate the earth again.

If, however, we destroy the world with nuclear energy (and the US is fine with invading another country just for oil control, so it's certainly conceivable that we could instigate a nuclear war if we were going through a mass famine brought on by, say, global warming) then things will obviously be much different.

  2. Am thinking that we would be slightly dead

  3. i  suggest   we   got   leave   in  the   space

  4. OMG....WE,RE ALL GOING TO DIE......RUN FOR THE HILLS

  5. Then be too late to think about this question. Previously we must  to decide what to do to avoid this adventure.

  6. on mars or on titan!

Mars is the nearest choise with water-ice on polars.if we will manage to heat the Mars,it will be a planet where we can live in.

Actually.according to the latest NASA's researches,Titan is more likely to earth with rivers under the thick ice layer.but it is very far away...how could we get there...

  7. President Bush has a plan. Alberto Gonzales drew it up. Cheney amended it.

    Don't you feel better??!

  8. They  had  hoped  to  terra  form  Venus  but  it  won't  be  near  enough  ready  in  time .

The  Australian  drought  and  the  disappearance  of  the  honey  bees ( critical  for  crops )  in  the  U.S. ,  will  have  adverse  consequences  long  before  any  terra  forming  plan  works .

  10. that is why h**l was invented to accomodate you guys

  11. mars man

  12. The answer is that in all probability we will not destroy the earth, BUT if we do there will never be somewhere else to go. Ideas of colonizing another planet are just pie in the sky. Even going to the moon is in no way the same as the Mayflower going to the new world, even given technology many years hence.

  13. We are not going to live. If the predictions for global warming are on the mark, we will be extinct in less than 50yrs. That is not enough time to find another suitable planet, not to mention move humanity there.

Of course we could go extinct much sooner, as some stupid trigger happy country might decide to start a nuclear war before global warming takes care of life on the planet.
