日本語７年をべんきょうしました…しかし、４年をたくさんべんきょうしました。

私はならうをささげります。

2009まで、ぼこくご日本語はなすがほしいです」

「I would be honored if you could help me.」 を日本語で何と言ますか。

Honestly, please don’t be upset that I have butchered up the Japanese language above.

I tried to say more than the simple things that I already know. I am meeting up with a Japanese tutor soon and I want to introduce myself completely in Japanese.

In essence, I attempted to write: [the writings below in the parenthesis are things I have no idea how to say in Japanese but would like to add to the paragraph]

“Good Afternoon…

My name is Andreena, and it is nice to meet you.

For 7 years I have studied Japanese (on my own) however in the last 4 years I have studied more (in school).

I am really dedicated to learn.

And by the end of 2009, I want to speak on a native level.

I would be honored if you could help me.”

So that’s what I want to say. ^_^ Thanks!!!

はじめまして。

アンドリーナです。

７年間、１人で日本語を勉強しました。

でも４年間まえから学校で勉強を始めたからいろいろ習いました。

日本語を一いっしょうけんめい勉強したいと思います。

２００９年までネーティブみたいにうまく話せるようになりたいです。

教えてくれれば本当に助かります。

どうぞよろしくお願いします。

I changed a few things..

If you're meeting for the first time, you have to say はじめまして, and not 　こんにちは。

教えてくれれば本当に助かります。 Means "It'll be a great help if you teach me."  The expression ".....助かります " is commonly used when asking a favor from someone.

And I said "4 years ago, I started studying at school so I learned a lot of different things." and "I really want to work hard to learn Japanese."

Make sure to bow when saying はじめまして and どうぞよろしくお願いします。 Anything with よろしく in it is always said at the very end of anything you are saying, not at the start and not at the middle of your "speech". And always make sure to not omit お願いします after よろしく。 Omitting it is too informal with people you meet for the 1st time and people you do not know very well.

I'm not a native speaker, but I can vouch that it's relatively accurate and understandable. But maybe native speakers have a better way of saying it?

ADDITIONAL : Your title should read: これを日本語で何と言いますか？教えてください。　You don't need すべて and it makes the sentence weird. You also don't need to put ありがとう　since the context of using "thanks" in asking for a favor is different in Japanese. In fact, saying "ありがとう" can be taken negatively since it implies that you are expecting him/her to do what you asked without question. The correct equivalent is よろしく、and as I mentioned before, it is said at the very end of everything you want to say. Say ありがとう　after the request is fulfilled.

Another way to say ”ひとりでべんきょうする”　is

”どくがくする（独学する）” (study on one's own)
