杂货商, what does this mean, ?

i know it's Chandler but does it mean anything,

杂货 = miscellaneous goods or products

商 = merchant; Shang dynasty

杂货商 = a merchant who sells miscellaneous goods. In other words, a "Jack-of-all-trades".

How did you know it's "Chandler" when you don't even know the language?

Given that the original meaning of chandler was candlemaker, how about 蠟燭商candlemaker (Mandarin la4 zhu2 shang1).
